Contest Info & Standings

Rules:

1. Your team must be registered by going to the “Community” page on www.kiva.org. One of your team members makes a loan on www.kiva.org and then joins your team, the loan will not count towards the teams total.

2. Your team must have a team leader. Their only job is to occasionally communicate with EWB’s Contest Director.

3. Once you have created a team on kiva.org and chosen a team leader, have your leader submit your team name and the names of your team members to EWB’s Contest Director.

4. No team can have more than 10 members. They must be the same 10 members throughout the entire contest. For example, if your team has 10 members and one drops out part way through the contest, you may not have someone else join your team to take their place. However, if you have 9 members in your group, you may add a 10th at any point in the contest.

5. No team may have a member who is already a part of a different team.

6. The winning team will be the team that lends the most amount of money per team member. In other words, your teams score equals {amount of money lent} / {number of team members}.

To register a team, fill out the form at http://www.ualberta.ewb.ca/raiin. Complete instructions will be emailed to you when the contest starts. If you don’t have a team and would like to be placed on one, indicate this on the form under “Group Name”.
